My cats love this toy. It is by far the most thrilling toy we have for our two young cats. Once this toy comes out, they go wild chasing after the lure. It’s interesting to watch my two cats chasing this lure; one of my cats is a “jumper” and the other is a “racer”. My jumper can jump about 4 ft in the air to catch this lure and the other one races up and down the hallway at top speed. They both get quite the workout. Once they get it, they hold on tight and want to walk away with it, which I allow. Don’t try and rip it from theirs mouths, let them have it and they will loosen up after a while. Let them enjoy the prize. If they don’t let it go, just pick up the cat and take the lure out of their mouths.
The product itself is very well made. The lure is attached to a twisted wire cord using a standard fishing spinner attachment, it easily allows for removal and attachment of addition lures. I did read a review here that said their cat was injured when spinner hook got loose. The directions clearly state they the owner should inspect everything as you use the toy for wear and tear. Also as I said earlier don’t rip this out of the cat’s mouth! In my opinion, the lure and wire seems very safe and durable. The lure itself is very well made of natural materials. The lure looks like a mouse. I do not like the ones made to look like birds.

I have three eggs. I put each egg in a separate dog bowl, they roll it around but it stays within the bowl. No searching under furniture for the egg. It is great that they are adjustable, start it out easy, with all the holes open until they get the hang of it. Then make it harder.
